How to Install Microphone In Windows Vista & Windows 7

After installing Windows Vista or Windows 7, your microphone is not working right?

Follow these steps and it will be just fine -

1. Download the Realtek Audio Drivers for Vista and Windows 7 by clicking HERE.

2. Right click MY COMPUTER and go to properties. From there go to DEVICE MANAGER.

3. Open SOUND, VIDEO, AND GAME CONTROLLERS.

4. UNINSTALL the HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO DEVICE mentioned there.

5. Now scan for hardware changes in the device manager. This option is there in ACTION Tab.

6. When the new Hardware is again detected, install the drivers manually by pointing to the Realtek Audio Drivers folder.

7. Restart your computer and you are ready to roll.

8. You can update the drivers anytime.
